Typical Flow Characteristic

For control applications a wide variety of actuators and accessories can be provided.  At moderate pressure drop conditions, turndown approaching 100 to 1 can be achieved because of the camming action of the disc opening.  The disc lifts off the seat very quickly and an equal percentage control curve is produced between a disc angle of 15° and 75°.
